Dear visitors, fans, friends, and musicians. The Jeanne Carroll family would like to thank all of you for your love and support.

On Monday, August 22, 2011 friends and family gathered in the Reformations Gedächtnis Kirche in Nürnberg, Deutschland to memorialize a true legend of music.

Born in Releville Missippi on January 15 1931. Jeanne moved to Chicago, Illinoise when she was 9 years old. She went to Wendell Phillips High School where her musical education began. In 1949 she joined in marriage with Mack Carroll and from that union was born Kenneth, Karen, and Michael Carroll.

During her musical carrer she toured the world over, and over again. In 1989 she decided to move to Europe, and her daughter Karen followed her in 1997. And in 1998 they both moved to Nürnberg, Deutschland where there they were welcomed and treated well.

On August 9, 2011 in Aalst, Belgium Mrs. Albertha Jeanne Carroll-Simmons joined her best friend and 'Buddy' Mack Carroll, where she is now with him at peace in the Lords arms.

Jeanne leaves a host of family and friends.
